Full rebrand, relaunch and on-going support for Aeris, an up and coming technology think-tank located in Kansas City.
Aeris is a software and hardware company specializing in cutting edge cloud-based technologies. Originally focusing on an in-house point-of-sale software, over the years the product range expanded into hardware, vending and telecommunications.
The original branding for Aeris was created to look similar to their competitors. Odd Fox urged the company to push themselves out away from the crowd by adhering to a space-infused theme, cool but still techy color theme, and a stark, punctuated typeface.
The previous site was built on proprietary software and was non-responsive which was having a detrimental effect on mobile sales. We were originally commissioned to redesign and rebuild the site to make it future proof and scaleable, with a particular focus on mobile. As we became more involved in the project the remit expanded to include positioning, branding, content generation and digital marketing.
We began the project with a research and investigation phase. We conducted an in-depth analysis of their site and their competitors, and created user personas based on our findings. The exercises resulted in us recommending the repositioning and rebranding of Aeris to establish the company as a leading authority in the point-of-sale market.
Following the branding exercise the site was completely redesigned from the ground up and rebuilt using the Drupal platform, incorporating a wide range of extensions and additional bespoke coding to achieve the required functionality.
We continue to work with Aeris on a retained basis to increase traffic, optimize conversions and boost sales via ongoing continuous improvement (design and build sprints) and digital marketing.
